Devon Wilson
Devon discovered her love of nutrition 14 years ago in hospital food service. Her duties included cutting lettuce and onions, preparing catered functions, as well as learning the fundamentals of diet planning. Moving to Phoenix in 2000, revealed a new world of foods unheard of in her small home town in central Pennsylvania. She continued adding to her food service experience working in long-term care and in the
restaurant industry.Later, Devon put her love of food, the food service business, and growing interest of nutrition to work. As she continued working as a server at Tempe's Pita Jungle, she graduated with honors from Arizona State University, and later completed a dietetic internship with Maricopa County's Office of Nutrition Services. As a Registered Dietitian, Devon has spent her two years in practice working in the public health sector, providing nutrition education to lower-income populations. She's also continued to waitress at Pita Jungle solely because she enjoys working with food and an exceptional food service team. Now, working with NutritionAnalysis.com, Devon is able to combine her food service experience, nutrition expertise, talent for educating, and her love of food.
