With hikers, skiers, snowboarders, mountain bikers, and college students all over the place, Flagstaff is one of the more health-conscious cities in the Grand Canyon State. It's a natural fit for Pita Jungle, and lots of Flagstaffians have been wondering what took us so long to get here. Better late than never, we always say, and now that we're in town we promise to provide a great place for active people of all kinds to get their kicks.

    Honey Sesame Chicken Pizza $10.19

    Wood-fired lavosh bread pizza with grilled chicken in a honey-sesame glaze and bell peppers, crushed red peppers, scallions, mushrooms, pine nuts, fresh basil and mozzarella cheese.

    Wood-Fired Linguine and Parmesan Crusted Chicken $11.99

    Pan-tossed linguine with tomatoes, garlic, capers, fresh basil, and olive oil. Topped with Parmigiano Reggiano crusted breast of chicken and baked in the wood-fired oven.

    Wood-Fired Veggie Lavosh Wrap $9.29

    A blend of marinated zucchini and yellow squash, eggplant, wood-fired tomatoes and onions in a Portobello mushroom marinade, with fresh spinach, pesto sauce, garlic dip and seasoning, wrapped in lavosh bread. Served with red bell pepper hummus, roasted garlic potatoes and garnished on the side with Sriracha sauce.

Priya Drews Priyama1@yahoo.com 928-637-5094 After a lifelong love affair with creativity, Priya picked up her oil paints again in 2009 and began painting landscapes and still lifes. One day, she was handed a bag of lemons and as fate would have it, the rest is history. In this collection, "This is NOT a Lemon," artist Priya Drews returns to one of her earliest influences, surrealist painter Rene Magritte. "When I was in high school, I attended Saturday classes at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago," says Priya. "I probably spent more time in the galleries than we did in our classes. During that time, Magritte’s retrospective exhibition was appearing and I fell in love with his vision and the way his mind worked."
