Gilbert offers so much more than when it was the Hay Capital of the World — including Pita Jungle. This location is run by three musicians who play with the popular bands Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, El Oso Negro, and Reubens Accomplice. The food is great and so is the scene, so be sure to stop by and say, “Hey.”

  • Coconut Curry Soup $2.99/$4.49

    Chickpeas, onions, red bell peppers, jalapenos, tomatoes, curry, coconut milk and fresh cilantro in a seasoned vegetable broth.

    Wood-Fired Veggie Lavosh Wrap $8.29

    A blend of marinated zucchini and yellow squash, eggplant, wood-fired tomatoes and onions in a Portobello mushroom marinade, with fresh spinach, pesto sauce, garlic dip and seasoning, wrapped in lavosh bread. Served with red bell pepper hummus, roasted garlic potatoes and garnished on the side with Sriracha sauce.

    Riviera Tuna Salad $9.29

    Albacore tuna over brown rice on a bed of romaine lettuce, garnished with tomatoes, cilantro, red onions and Kalamata olives, sprinkled with lemon vinaigrette.

    Lavosh Pita Crisp $7.29

    Thin lavosh bread rubbed with chipotle peppers and covered with cheddar cheese. Baked in the wood-fired oven and served with fresh Pico de Gallo and Tzatziki.

    Wood-Fired Linguine and Parmesan Crusted Chicken $10.99

    Pan-tossed linguine with tomatoes, garlic, capers, fresh basil, and olive oil. Topped with Parmigiano Reggiano crusted breast of chicken and baked in the wood-fired oven.

Jonathan Madzinga was born on the 15th of January 1985 in Bulawayo, in the Math South region of Zimbabwe.He began painting at the age of six, encouraged by his father who was a painter and recognized his talent.  Soon Jonathan was introduced to the National Art Gallery in Bulawayo, where he first developed his appreciation for fine art.Jonathan received tertiary art training at the Mzilikazi Art and Craft Centre, and was a resident artist at the National Gallery of Bulawayo.Since 2002 Jonathan has exhibited in Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, The Netherlands, UK, Dubai, Canada, USA, and Australia.
