Gilbert offers so much more than when it was the Hay Capital of the World — including Pita Jungle. This location is run by three musicians who play with the popular bands Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, El Oso Negro, and Reubens Accomplice. The food is great and so is the scene, so be sure to stop by and say, “Hey.”

    Wood-fired veggies: eggplant, zucchini, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, with feta, fresh basil, garlic sauce, side Greek salad.

    Moroccan Gazpacho $2.99/$4.69

    A fresh blend of celery, cucumbers, tomatoes, jalapenos, onions and cilantro with golden raisins, garbanzo beans, lemon juice and seasonings. Served cold with pine nuts and a pita chip.

    Red Quinoa with Cilantro Hummus $7.99

    Red qiunoa, tomato, pine nuts, red onion, cucumber, feta, arugula, spinach, baby kale, lemon-cumin vinaigrette, cilantro hummus, garlic, Organic blue corn chips or pita.

    Watermelon Smoothie $5.99

    Fresh watermelon and fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt.

    Baklawa Sundae $3.79

    Two scoops of vanilla frozen yogurt, walnut baklawa rolls, whipped cream, crushed pistachio, chocolate syrup and a fresh strawberry.

    Red Chai Chicken Curry $10.89

    Chicken pan braised in a red chai curry sauce with wood-fired onion garnished with raw red cabbage and carrot slaw, fresh cilantro sprig. Served with brown rice.

    Spicy Mango Shrimp $14.29

    Seven jumbo tiger shrimp stir-fried with caramelized onions and slivered mangos in a spicy sauce. Served with stir-fried ginger rice.

I've been interested in art for many years now.  About a year ago, I created a signature process of fusing  various colors of paint together and was able to capture different images by photographing the paint fusion at just the right moment, thus creating unique and original abstract designs.
