Gilbert offers so much more than when it was the Hay Capital of the World — including Pita Jungle. This location is run by three musicians who play with the popular bands Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers, El Oso Negro, and Reubens Accomplice. The food is great and so is the scene, so be sure to stop by and say, “Hey.”

Jalila Jones | Currently On Exhibit

Jalila Jones has had a love for art starting at a very young age.  Studying art at Inter City Cultural Center and St. Elmo’s Village in California.  Later taking art classes in Jr. High school throughout College in Arizona.  She is presently studying under the Milan Fine Art Studios in Queen Creek, AZ.  She has had her work displayed and featured at Phoenix’s First Fridays in the Arts Market on Roosevelt Row, the 2012 PHX Art Detour Public Hanging, Goings Gallery, bookstores and coffee houses around the valley.  Jalila has also been a guest artist in her son’s 5th grade class at Ellsworth Elementary School in Queen Creek. She’s had many art classes for children in her home.  Her love of art and teaching others branches out by having “canvas parties”.  You can always find her doing something creative and surrounding herself with friends and family.  She pours out her rich history of culture, family & music in every piece of art.
