Has it really been that long ago? We were just kids when we opened the original Pita Jungle in 1994. Back then, we noticed that more people were interested in eating healthier. And we thought they'd like to do it in a fun, relaxed, friendly, and visually-stimulating environment. Not much has changed since then. We still even act like kids.

    Couscous with fresh spinach, red bell peppers, corn, onions, tomatoes, taboule, garbanzo beans, cilantro, golden raisins, pineapple, sunflower seeds, jalapeno peppers and honey, mixed with a olive oil vinaigrette. Topped with pita chip strips.

    Wood-Fired Veggie Lavosh Wrap $9.29

    A blend of marinated zucchini and yellow squash, eggplant, wood-fired tomatoes and onions in a Portobello mushroom marinade, with fresh spinach, pesto sauce, garlic dip and seasoning, wrapped in lavosh bread. Served with red bell pepper hummus, roasted garlic potatoes and garnished on the side with Sriracha sauce.

    Salmon Burger* $10.99

    Hand chopped fresh salmon with dill, red onions, capers, cilantro and lemon juice. Served on a wheat bun with sliced tomatoes, sliced red onions and baby spinach. Served with garlic potatoes.

    Honey Sesame Chicken Pizza $10.19

    Wood-fired lavosh bread pizza with grilled chicken in a honey-sesame glaze and bell peppers, crushed red peppers, scallions, mushrooms, pine nuts, fresh basil and mozzarella cheese.

Founded in 1973 by a group of parents concerned with the lack of resources for their disabled children, the mission of STARS is to improve the lives of individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities. Our vision is to be the leader in creating quality opportunities for life-long empowerment and success. Throughout our history STARS has committed itself to providing an array of high-quality, integrated services for teens and adults with disabilities in three primary program areas: Day Programs, Employment & Vocational Services and Transition Services. These programs enable STARS to create a lifetime support system for our participants.
STARS’ Day program also includes Drawn Together, a creative arts program which uses art, theatre and photography as vehicles for creative expression and helps individuals with developmental and cognitive disabilities build confidence and self-esteem.
