James Covert Biography
My name is James Covert and I am The Angsty Artist.  I began creating art during the early stages of the pandemic in 2020 as a way of coping with all the free time I suddenly found on my hands.  I quickly learned that I loved creating, particularly creating art that involves texture and depth.  When I’m creating a piece, I become totally absorbed in the process and find my worries and anxieties fading away.  I primarily work with resin epoxy to create what I call “tactile art”; art that you want to touch and engage with beyond simply viewing it.  I work from an outdoor studio area at my home here in Scottsdale.  You can see my latest pieces on IG & FB where I’m @JamesVCovert, visit my on-line store at [TheAngstyArtist.com]TheAngstyArtist.com or reach out to me via text at 402-996-0948 or email at James@TheAngstyArtist.com.
